These narratives will spark conversations, ignite imagination, and help children connect with their faith in a meaningful way. Join us as we delve into these extraordinary stories and discover how they can enrich the hearts and minds of our future leaders.

1.  The Creation Story (Genesis 1–2)
In the beginning, God spoke—and everything came to life. Light. Oceans. Mountains. Stars. Elephants. Mosquitoes (sorry). And finally, humans. This story isn’t just about the origins of the world—it’s about purpose. It tells us we were made on purpose, by a good God, and it was very good. Even when things unravel later, the creation story reminds us that God’s default mode is beauty, order, and life.

2. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32)
We’ve all been that kid—running away, doing the most, thinking we know better. But this parable is really about the Father: who sees us coming home from a long way off and sprints to meet us. No lecture. Just a party. Jesus tells this story to show us what God is really like—scandalously forgiving and full of joy when we come back.

3. The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37)
A man lies bleeding on the road. The religious guys walk by. But the outsider—the one nobody expects—stops, helps, bandages, pays, and promises more. Jesus told this story to challenge the idea of “neighbor.” Your neighbor isn’t just the person who looks like you or worships like you. It's the one in need. And it's your call to go love.

4. The Pearl of Great Price (Matthew 13:45–46)
A merchant finds a pearl so stunning, he sells everything he owns to get it. Jesus says that’s what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. It’s not just valuable—it’s worth your whole life. And if you’ve seen it—really seen it—you’ll do whatever it takes to be part of it.

5. The Woman at the Well (John 4:1–42)
A woman comes to the well alone in the heat of day—ashamed, marginalized, worn out. Jesus sits with her, asks her questions, and offers her living water. She ends up being the first evangelist in the gospel of John. This story reminds us that Jesus breaks rules to reach hearts—and that nobody is too far gone to be used.

6. Zacchaeus the Tax Collector (Luke 19:1–10)
Zacchaeus is a shady guy—a sellout and a cheat. But he climbs a tree just to see Jesus. And Jesus sees him back. “Come down. I’m eating at your house today.” In one meal, Zacchaeus goes from greedy to generous, from outcast to host. Grace climbs trees and sits down for dinner.

7. The Woman Caught in Adultery (John 8:1–11)
Dragged into public shame, surrounded by stones and accusations, this woman expects judgment. But Jesus writes in the dirt and says, “Let the one without sin cast the first stone.” They all leave. He looks at her and says, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” Truth and grace, side by side. That’s Jesus.

8. Peter Walking on Water (Matthew 14:22–33)
Peter steps out of the boat, eyes on Jesus—and for a moment, he walks on water. Then the fear hits, and he sinks. But Jesus grabs him. Always grabs him. This story is about faith, yes—but even more, it’s about a God who doesn’t let us drown, even when we doubt.

9, The Thief on the Cross (Luke 23:39–43)
He’s done nothing right. He’s minutes from death. But he looks at Jesus and says, “Remember me.” And Jesus promises, “Today you’ll be with me in paradise.” It’s the most last-minute salvation story in Scripture—and proof that grace isn’t earned. It’s given.

10. The Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35)
Two discouraged disciples walk away from Jerusalem, heads down. Jesus shows up, but they don’t recognize him at first. He walks with them, explains Scripture, breaks bread—and suddenly, their eyes are opened. Even in disappointment, Jesus walks with us. Even when we don’t see it, he’s there.
